Common Questions
What problems do you actually fix in 60 minutes?
Slow PC or Mac, printer that stopped working, new device setup, software install, password reset, email problems, browser issues, basic malware cleanup, smart device pairing. If the issue is bigger than 60 minutes, we tell you upfront and quote the rest.
In-home or remote, which should I pick?
Remote when the device is on and reachable, you can talk us through what is happening, and the issue does not need physical access. In-home for printer trouble, hardware swaps, multi-device setup, or anything where you would rather we just sit at the desk and do it.
What if it takes longer than 60 minutes?
We tell you when we are 10 minutes from the cap. You can stop, ask us to keep going at $129 an hour, or schedule a follow-up. The follow-up within 14 days is $89 instead of $129.
Do you fix Macs and PCs both?
Yes. Macs, PCs, Chromebooks, iPads, and Android tablets. We will not pretend to be deep Apple OS engineers. For OS-internal issues that need Apple Support, we say so and refer.
Can you help my parents over the phone?
Yes. Remote sessions for family members are common. They get the same flat rate. We can also schedule recurring check-ins as part of Care Basic.
